About Viasna
Since 1996, Viasna team has been defending human rights in Belarus. We support political prisoners and their families, document repression, stand up for freedom and dignity, teach human rights, and continue to learn.
Over the years of its work, Viasna has become a symbol of solidarity and resistance against injustice. Our team knows the cost of this struggle: many of our colleagues have faced persecution, arrests, imprisonment, torture, and have been forced to flee the country.
In 2026, Viasna marks its 30th anniversary. We would deeply appreciate any contribution to our cause on the path toward democracy in Belarus.
